Ad blocker stops wp ad plugin requesting image, the plugin then trys to load the image agian and again. Will this effect page proformance?

The plugin is called OIO Ad Manager (The client wants this), and I'm using Adblock Chrome extension.

I only ask because this causes the ad blocker counter to run into the thousands, it actually never stops.

I'm also wondering about a possible fix if it is having a performance issue. Is there is a way to stop the image request after the first request fails because of an ad blocker:
