gzip compression and caching by htaccess not working in wordpress

This my .htaccess file, I am using at some other project.

when i use this code in a WordPress website for the purpose of Implement caching and compression. GOOGLE PAGESPEED INSIGHT still showing

Leverage browser caching but compression is enabled.

I have tried some wordpress plugins too, but nothing works.

Please suggest me, what i should've to do and what is the problem?
