change category permlink to be like page permalink

i have my current page permalink http://ift.tt/1O8opJC

and category page permalink http://ift.tt/1QZAE1f

i changed permalinks Permalink Settings to

Custom Structure : http://www.mysite.com%category%/

now i want to change permalink of category to be

http://ift.tt/1O8opJC

also i want to change page permalink to be :

http://ift.tt/1QZAC9M

but when i update permalink for page and try http://ift.tt/1O8opJC in browser it redirect to
http://ift.tt/1QZAC9M
