Wordpress Image Gallery does not read js

I am trying to create a gallery page for my website. So I tried installing ample of gallery plugins like Foo gallery, bootstrap gallery etc. but nothing works. It read the css but doesn't read the js.

I have edited the basic wordpress theme to create the custom theme I wanted. Most of the part in this theme is hard coded except the body part.
