Is it possible to prevent an image in a visual composer media grid from being clicked on?

Clicking on an image in my media grid causes you to leave the page and be directed to a page that I don't want users to end up on.

How can I prevent this?

Other acceptable solution would be changing the link to a lightbox which made the image bigger but google says that isn't possible without integrating it with VC.
